Radisson SAS Farnham Estate Hotel wins prestigious award at the LAMA Awards on Saturday 26th January this year. The Local Authority Members Association (LAMA) Awards, now in their 2nd year, were exceptionally well received at the Citywest Hotel with over 800 guests in attendance, including Councillors, local government representatives, senior business executives and community leaders.  One of the Winning projects nominated  by Cavan County Council was Radisson SAS Farnham Estate Hotel Cavan who won the LAMA Award '08 for the 'Best Commercial Building ' in Ireland.    

The awards received a fantastic response to the call for all county councils to participate and were set up to celebrate those whose work has been of tremendous benefit to the community.  The LAMA Awards, at which RTE’s Sharon Ni Bheolain was the MC and Minister John Gormley was the Guest of Honour.
